This is offtopic, but it seems like Clayfighter threads on these forums don't get all that much attention. I had a permanent constipated grimace on my face, I was revenge personified

I played this game on the SNES. It was hilarious- especially that Elvis toon ! I always thought it was meant to be a spoof of all the other 2d fight games on the market at the time (ie. Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat).
Was it? Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 64bit

PSU Corsair 1000HX

Considering it had CLAYTALITIES I'd have to say the series was a spoof. But that's one of the reasons it's so good. <(^_^)>

I'm a really huge fan of ClayFighter and I'd hope that gamesas hasn't ruled out the idea of making a fourth installment. Each of the games in the series has been released some time after a major Street Fighter title (with the exception of C2: Judgement Clay), incorperating some of the features of the most recent fighters into the latest game. Hopefully, with Street Fighter 4 just around the corner, this could be a prime oppertunity to make a 4th ClayFighter... but I suppose that's just wishful thinking. I'm bad, I'm cool, I'm no one's fool.

Bad Mr Frosty. It's okay we really know you just need the work as I'm sure after all these years the money dried up 8-)

Not to worry though I'm sure Taffy or even Helga would tango with you for another round  Image

*sobs uncontrollably* It's true. No dough, no go. Though I'm sure there'll be some fans who download ClayFighter when it finally makes it's way to virtual consol (insert shameless plug here). Till then, I'll be stuck battling it out against Hobocop in the late 90's. Oh well... Stay cool.

Ladies and gentlemen! Here are the combatants for this extravaganza:

Wii vs. DSi

gamesas has announced a remake of one of the greatest fighters of all time to be released on both the Wii as well as DSi (which is going to ROCK!) Here's a link:

The title bout takes place Summer of 2010! I can't wait! I'm bad, I'm cool, I'm no one's fool.

I am so happy to hear that this game is being revamped for the 2 Nintendo Systems!

Is it going to be the original Clay Fighter? CF, CF:TE, C2:JC, CF63 1/3, and CF63 1/3:SC, would all be good on a DS card (if they fixed some of the 63 1/3 stuff), but if these are remakes, I hope all of these games are re-released, and that they can connect with a new CF game in the future.

Trilogy Roster:

Bad Mr. Frosty
Helga
Ickybod Clay
Blob
Taffy
Blue Suede Goo
Tiny
Bonker
N. Boss
Nanaman
Octohead
Hoppy
Kangoo
Googoo
Ice
Butch
Slyck
Jack
Spike
Thunder
Sarge
Dr. Peelgood
Miss Lucy
T-Hoppy
Dr. Kiln
Kung Pow
Houngan
Earthworm Jim
Boogerman
Sumo Santa
High Five
Lady Liberty
Lockjaw Pooch
Zappa Yow Yow Boyz
Hobo Cop

Look at that roster! If they made a new Clay Fighter with the feel of Super Smash Bros., it would sell huge. If they could connect these re-releases for Wii and DS with this new game to unlock content, then the original remakes would sell well too.

My hope is that they do not just remake the original CF but instead remake(re-release) all of the games in the CF franchise and create a new game with all of these characters. The trilogy roster is too good to not bring back! IMO, CF has the most potential of any gamesas games (if you could tie in unlockable content from the EJ series and the BM game, it'd be awesome!)
