Earthworm Jim 4

Post » Sun May 24, 2009 3:57 pm

I never really played any Earthworm Jim game a lot, but it's pretty cool that gamesas is working with the original creator of the series again on a new installment (just like it's working with some of the makers of Fallout on Project V13). The new animated series info also sounds pretty neat. The Vault - Fallout Wiki * Fallout Online * Fallout IRC Channel * Fallout: New Vegas

Earthworm Jim 3D was a fair low point for the series so far, I hope 4 gets it back on track.

As long as Psycrow, Monkey-for-a-Head and Princess Whats-her-name are back.

EW:J has always had a fantastic cast

They should remake the first games in HD and put them up on PSN and Xbox live just like Grin did with Bionic Commando: Rearmed that would be awesome!

I didn't play the 3rd EWJ, it doesn't seem very appealling to me. I hope EWJ 4 gets the "awesomeness" of the two first games.

2d platform with cartoonish look, for the win!

Yup. As long as they focus more on the gameplay rather than the humor *cough*EWJ2*cough* I have a feeling that this will be an awesome game.

Great to see a classic come back... I enjoyed EWJ1 and EWJ2 as much as the next guy; So when are we going to see these two titles on Wii Virtual Console. We need some EWJ to keep us busy until EWJ4 is released.

I think every one should get over their lame "casual gamer" Wii's and just buy a good old wood paneled TV to play their Genesis/SNES on.

anolog or death! St. Louis gives young men the fear, can you use that?

As long as it has Earthworm Jim VS. Psycrow in it, I'm pleased. WOW, seeing a really awesome 3D Psy crow would be like Christmas every morning....but with more crows....maybe not that good but still....I'm gonna get a 360, so I can play this.

I have been waiting for a new Jim game for a while, so glad to hear the series will be getting the attention it deserves again. Is the scrapped PSP game that was looking awesome ever going to get picked up and finished? I was really looking forward to that...

I'm sorry but I'm soooo relieved that they scrapped that abomination. I love Jim to death but I'm not one of those fans that is so desperate I'll take any piece of crap with his face on it.

Looked like crap and the sound effects where deplorable. I hope EWJ4 looks and sounds nothing like that. St. Louis gives young men the fear, can you use that?

I know Doug Tennapel (the main creator of EWJ) is working on the project, which is completely awesome, but since I first heard this news months and months ago, I've heard nothing about other members of the original EWJ development team working on the new installment. That'd be nice if some of the old developers could put their original thought into it. If not, then I'm still very confident in any team willing to put together a new Earthworm Jim (if you really play it with an open mind, EWJ 3D really isn't the worst game ever made).

Earthworm Jim is still my favorite game. I hope that EWJ 4 will be as memorable and absurd as EWJ 1 was. Image
