If Interplay gets the license back from Bethesda...

Since gamesas and Bethesda are currently in legal battles over the future of the Fallout Brand I started thinking about what gamesas would do with Fallout if the court ruled in their favor. I hope that gamesas would return the Fallout series to its original isometric perspective, or do something similar to Bioware's Dragon Age: Origins game where Isometric is standard view but you can switch to third person if you choose. Similarly, Bethesda dummed down the character creation for Fallout: DC. gamesas should bring back several perks such as first aid and doctor that Bethesda combined into One perk. Perhaps most importantly, Make your choices actually matter. In F:DC you could decide between good and evil, but that never really changed any part of the main story, or most of the sidequests for that matter. The only thing your choices ever influenced was a little meter that said whether you were good or bad. Well, Those are the changes I hope gamesas makes if they get the series back.

p.s. = gamesas should look into releasing the Fallout Trilogy over Xbox Live and PSN or on disk for those consoles to reach a broader audience for the original games.

Fallout Chris has already said that ports of the original cannot be done. Simple fact of the matter with the current agreement gamesas cannot change the original game product. It must stay in its final form. So as it stands right now there is a no go on ports for the iPhone, PS3, Xbox, and or the wii. The only places you are able to see it on the things it was released for. MacOSX and Windows. :S Image
