Fallout Graphics Issue?

Post » Wed May 27, 2009 5:46 am

I just bought the Trilogy for my old favorite game-and just a minor issue really:

I think this has to do with my own drivers or something.... but I'm running Windows 7 with a current and very powerful Nvidia GTX ..something... tis nice, but when I tried to load Fallout, Fallout 1.3# the graphics had regions of -oh... whats it called- off-color groups that make it hard to see clearly.

However, in the high resolution version it runs perfectly... but everything is a little small ><

Any suggestions?

Thanks! I tried the first few suggestions there, but it didn't work.

However I DO have a solution now:

I went to the default folder and made a shortcut of the "fallouth.exe" file to the desktop. I opened the properties of the shortcut, Compatibility tab, and checked all the options in the Settings field. Selecting the 256 color and Disable Visual Themes alone did not work.

But, with all those options selected, it now works for me!! Thanks again!!
