The holster on the other side

As you can see in the sketches of Jim on the gamesas home page, the holster for his gun is on the opposite side of the suit it's been on in the past. One possible reason behind it being on the left side of the suit (left side from Jim's point of view) is that Jim is left-handed. He may be left-handed because of whatever reason you can think of, but either way, he holds the gun in his left hand.

I'm not sure if anyone here kept up with the development of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but I definitely did. One thing I remember is that Nintendo was presenting a demo of the game at an E3 one year, and the developers of the game that were there seeing what they could improve on noticed something about how people were playing. Most people were holding the Wii remote in their right and the nunchuk in the left. In the game, swinging the Wii remote makes Link (the player character) swing his sword. Throughout the entire Zelda series, Link has held his sword in his left hand. What the developers actually did was to keep the Gamecube version of the game the same (keeping Link left-handed), but to mirror the game on the Wii version (making Link right-handed).

When I noticed Jim's holster being on the right, it got me thinking about something. There's a possibility (doesn't matter how small, it's a possibility) that gamesas is doing the same thing for Jim as Nintendo did for Link: making the character right-handed to match up with the way most people hold the Wii remote, in their right hand.

Just a thought... Image

I pray to the forgotten gods that Jim never comes to the abomination known as the Wii. I've always loved Nintendo's consoles since I was a kid. And I'm not even a fanboy. But the Wii is a novelty. A nic nac like the rubics cube. I hope Nintendo gets over itself and non-gaming advlts in time for the next console. St. Louis gives young men the fear, can you use that?

I wouldn't be worried about it coming to the Wii (even though I'd definitely be fine with it), because the holster/handedness deal could have also been changed to accommodate people who are used to controlling the camera or aiming with the right anolog stick on a traditional controller. With the way controllers are designed and their button-placement, it's almost the only option for playing a game such as a first-person shooter on a console. Just because I was using the Zelda: TP story as an example doesn't mean it could only be pointing out a possibility for Wii. It could mean the same for coming to other consoles. Image

I hope this does come out on the Wii.
I disagree that it is a novelty console, it does have a wide variety of games and there has been way too many party game come out on it but there have also been some really good games on there like Zelda.

I honestly have never had any desire to get an Xbox as I have heard that it is mostly first person shooters and racing games and I know people who have had to have their consoles repaired several times due to software and hardware faults.

If it doesn't make it to the Wii I hope it at least gets released for PC so me and other people who have a Wii can play it too.

Or, you could use the nunchuck to fire... Personally, I think that could work well, so long as you auto-aim. Then you can whip through the remaining predictable method... <(>.>)^
