Has there been any notification on when Earthworm Jim 2 will be released in North America for the Wii Virtual Console?

No, I haven't heard any news about its release. With Virtual Console games, there's not usually any information about releases besides speculation. If you keep an eye on http://www.nintendo.com/wii/virtualconsole/games, you'll see when it releases. Just check there every once in a while. If you'd like, I could post here when I find out it has released.
