space quest IP

Hey I really like the fact that gamesas is back and that they are making a new earthworm jim game. I got a great sugestion that could potentially make you guys money. You could buy the Sierra Entertainment's IP space quest. Space Quest was an adventure game series lasting from 1986-1995. The IP wouldn't be terribly expensive and it is a lot similiar to earthworm jim but even better. The series is about a space janitor name Roger Wilco who is clumsy and does funny things while fighting villians. The space quest series has sold millions of copies. If you were to buy the IP and make a new game in the series you would get a lot of attention and publicity. If you dont know what the series is about you can look it up at wikipedia. I recommend you look into the idea of buying the IP because it could get you a spot in the casual family gaming market which is a cash cow right now. Companies such as Nintendo are making family oriented games. You would have to contact vivendi though if you want to buy the IP cause they are the parent of Sierra Entertainment. Anyway tell me if you think this is a good idea. :D

PS: Here is a link to a page on wikipedia that tells about space quest. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Quest

I very much doubt that gamesas is in any position now to buy new IPs. The Vault - Fallout Wiki * Fallout Online * Fallout IRC Channel * Fallout: New Vegas

Yeh I think gamesas has to work with what they have for now.

I'm there with you on the SQ resurrection front though, I only ever really played Space Quest 4, but that was a great hilarious adventure game.
