What's up with the guy with the beard and glasses? It's been freaking me out for years.

That's an image of one of the developers whose name I'm blanking on, from what I can remember of the story, it was an easter egg. When the Fallout games were released most computers did not have the ability to display detailed icons but those that did would have gotten an "extra treat" out of their game.

I think the recent "Fallout Collection" changes it to an image of a nuclear symbol but if you get it from Good Old Games it still has the easter egg.

Ah, see I never had that icon until I reinstalled it years later on my newer computer. Was always a mystery until now.
