Where are all of the original developers for the first two Fallout games? And are they available for birthday parties?

After Black Isle shut down, most of the developers went on to found/work at Obsidian Entertainment, some had also gone on to Troika Games from what I remember but that studio shutdown in 2005 due to poor sales of Vampire: The Masqeurade: Bloodlines.

Troika people moved on to Obsidian, Blizzard, InXile (Brian Fargo's company), and I think some even went to gamesas

Some members also founded an Independent studio in Seattle called Doublebear last year.

I bought Vampire Masquerade . :(

It's a great game that was probably overshadowed by the release of Half-Life 2.

It was a good game, pretty buggy though but the game is still being patched by fans who basically took over where Troika left off thanks to the Source SDK! The development cycle for that game from what I've heard was really bad (troubled), I think Valve also had a clause where they had to be the first ones to release a game running on the Source Engine.

We're getting off topic now.

I think Obsidian Entertainment has the most fallout devs atm. Also vampire bloodlines was awesome. Arcanum was even better I was really sad they had to shut down. Image

Bloodlines is probably in my top 10 of favorite games. I've beaten it about three times and I could still do it again. Doesn't get old.

I was also thinking that Obsidian had the most too, but only by a few. I flipped when I heard they were doing a Fallout game, and I hope New Vegas kicks ass. I was a bit disappointed when I found out they were using Bethesda's engine though.

gamesas/Black Isle were old studios, some people might have retired, burnt out and found different work, etc. Even in game development, when working on a new title teams usually never stay consistent from start to finish (people leave, are moved around to other projects, etc).

Black Isle is the best game dev studio in history of human kind. Their only sin was they were too good for their time! Respect to infinity :!:
