If I try to register for these forums using Firefox, when I click on the "I agree to these terms" button, nothing happens.

Additionally, if I register using IE6, then login using Firefox, any attempt to post a new topic requires a forum login which doesn't actually work. Therefore, these forums are read only with Firefox.

Try this:

Go to Tools -> Clear Private Data and delete _everything_, then try logging back in. That fixed it for me.
