Legendary Wars: T-Rex Rumble

Post » Fri Jun 19, 2009 12:09 am

In between all the Fallout Online discussion, is anyone planning on picking up Legendary Wars: T-Rex Rumble on Monday (21st, North America only) for DSiWare? It's 800 Nintendo Points ($8).

I'm considering the purchase of a Nintendo DSi with T-Rex Rumble being a key motivating title, I only have a DS Lite and strategy games are about the only genre I play on the system.

A few interviews with the team starting from newest to oldest for more info on the game if anyone is interested.

I'm on the same boat as you. I, too, have been seriously thinking of purchasing a DSi for this game as well. There are other DSiWare games I want (Rayman, Prehistorik Man, Castle of Magic, etc.), but this is the main game that's really making me want to make that purchase. Agreed, the only thing kind of holding me back is the price tag and the 3DS which I'm sure is around the corner anyway which most likely means a price drop soon.

I don't mind the current price of the DSi. What's really bothering me is the announcement of the 3DS. Nintendo just released the DSi last year and already they're preparing a new handheld? That's ridiculous! I don't see the point of releasing the DSi last year if they'll be releasing a new handheld within the next year(maybe).

Sorry, I don't mean to rant. I wil end up purchasing a DSi eventually(I'm a collector) along with T-Rex Rumble. I love RTS games. Very addicting. ImageCurrently playing - MDK2 (WiiWare)

I see where you're coming from, I think the DSi XL came out a few months ago too. Looking for a good opportunity to jump in myself but whenever I do I'm pretty sure this will be my first buy.

Are you interested in the DSi or DSi XL? As for me, I prefer the regular one because it's easier to carry. Plus, it comes in a nice sky blue :D ImageCurrently playing - MDK2 (WiiWare)

I'm leaning towards the regular DSi, I don't think it is worth it to "go big" especially when many games aren't going to look that great being stretched on a larger screen.
