Part of the allure of the original series was its no holds barred grittiness in the portrayal of a post-apocalyptic world, the seediness mixing with the sixiness set it apart from contemporary titles and very few games since have followed it. Please for the love of hot mutant on mutant love do not succumb to the fear of moral outrage from well-organized lynch mobs of fuddy duddy churchgoers and bring us back the wink, smile and nod to all those beloved old charms that we so dearly love from the original titles.

heck, make a class for "hoker" or "high class escort" profession. Would require high charisma, could be a great way to make caps, get secrets out of players, get into secured , guarded areas as a "special guest'' of someone.

And make a Gambler profession. High luck needed, would make caps by gambling and winning by any means, dirty or fair... MMO's... MMO's never change...

it depends on what rating gamesas is going for... 'hokers' as you seem to imply would warrant an "advlts Only" rating from the ESRB and substantially decrease the marketability of the game.

I imagine "Mature" is the right rating to aim for, to allow for the brutality, grit and darkness of the world to be showcased. in this case, graphic violenec and limited sixual content can certainly be a part of the game -- but 'graphic' sixual content, such as the explicit display of sixual acts, would surely be awarded an "AO" rating.

GTA 4 could you not pick up a hoker in your car, have her perform a hand job, blow job, or ride me Cow Girl, then get out and run her over and take back my twenty? And that was Rated M for mature. If you mean I want to see a pencs enter an orifice in game naw... don't have to go that far but the the acts mentioned above should be in the game if possible. MMO's... MMO's never change...

I don't really see a reason to have hokers as part of the game itself -- if they build it, they will come. i.e. if the mechanics allows for it, hokers will be present regardless of whether or not gamesass puts them there... (meet you on the corner?)

Ah ah, in the expansion the lost in the damned, when speaking to the lawyer, in one scene you distinctly see his pencs for the world to see... uncensored. Also, in Red Dead Redemption, there is a scene where you walk in on Reyes *I think thats how you spell it* doing a girl bent over a table, her briast hanging out uncensored.. though no below is actually shown.

Mhh i'm sure it should but it also should be strippers and other kind of stuff , because womens with guns has a lot of money and they are very tough. So it should be like a skill based on Charisma and intelligence ( hokers and gigolos has to be smart to survive ). Of course you'll have female players doing their thing, hell you'll have male players masquerading as females doing the same damn thing. May as well have it in there the hard way.

I don't think that gambling or whoring in either Fallout games worked out that well, but yes, it was there and was part of the overall feel of the universe. (and seriously, my eyes! having a trademark for you're posts is fine, but could you please pick another colour?)

Sure, just as long as it doesn't become a freakshow aka Second Life. I tried that game for a week or two with a buddy for shits and giggles, and god, I am scarred for life.

Well I did use a howitzer in fallout 2 :/ (if you want you can use the nuclear bomb from fallout tactics if that will make you happier )
