I just beat Baldur's Gate I ultimately! I did the entire extreme game, including beating Eldreth, without a memory card! I never saved once! Who else can say they did that! I did it with my 40 level elf girl Adrianna. My inspiration for doing it was the experience my sons and I had when we first bought the game, (years ago), and didn't have a memory card. We couldn't get past the jumping stones in the Thief's Guild. Later we bought memory cards for our PS2 but I always wondered if I had kept at it would I have succeeded in beating an extreme game. I beat hard and normal games several times. The "extreme" game eluded me; until tonight. I am 58 years old and my sons are long gone; but I still play the game to relax. Then a couple of days ago I decided that I know the game inside out and I bet I can beat it! I DID IT and now I RULE!!!! Who else has done it?[/b][/u]

Wow. I doff my hat to you, sir/madam. I've done it on extreme mode only reloading several hundred times, which was hard enough. I hope you took ample breaks, that must've taken hours and hours? Thankyou for the salute. One likes to feel appreciated for one's accomplishments; which is undoubtedly why I posted the blog. You sound like a fellow warrior of the realms. Don't be afraid to post your accomplishments on the forum. If you don't appreciate your deeds, then who will?

Good on you! Still one of the best games I own. I haven't achieved what you have, and I hav no interest. But I in no way diminish you accomplishment, because I still think that's awesome. Congrats.

There were two things in DAII I often had a go at but never quite managed, these being:
I. Finish with all armour/equipment/trinkets as flawless with a +4 or better enchantment.
II. Completely complete that blasted Elemental Plane of Air level without once falling off.
