ok now the pip boy... so fallout 1 and 2 it was the pipboy 2000. if we get a pipboy any chance it can be the same model. the idea that a new pipboy was developed inside the vault never sat right with me. not sure why just seems that way. i could be the only one on this issue but still.

why not? there are still smart ppl in the vaults and spare parts so why couldnt the pip boy evolve? In gaming terms... Life's a die, then you bich.

Depends, if I remember correctly vaults have a special pip boy made for vaults, while normal pipboys that you bought topside was of another design.

i think that there should be quest for pip boy in order for you to get used to it, ie menus etc

While the Pip-Boy 2000 is certainly a classic, it would be nice if there were different versions of the Pip-Boy in game. Perhaps the initial Pip-Boy available would depend on the specific characters starting experience in terms of location and/or race.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a military version, child version etc etc.

in fallout 1 n 2 there were tapes you could use it with sth like that would be a cool feature to return

I have to agree with most people here. There probably will be, and should be multiple different pip-boys. Most likelly depending on the character.

I can picture all of them having different pip-boys. Altough Im not sure if Super mutants or even Raiders would be able to build one. But I quess they would scavenge them from their victims, so I quess some kind of multiple-choise after a few levels would make sense.

That would be cool, maybe getting a PipBoy would unlock certain features, like a mini-map, life-scanner and other cool stuff! Give me an axe and point me towards the caribou, dinners on me.
