Yeah, I'm definitely in the "Don't rush it, do it right" category.

Once adequate funding is secured, hopefully the developers do not get rushed by whatever partners and publishers they end up working with. As they are porting in a game engine, the work of developing one themselves is greatly lessened at least. Image

I can't agree more with that last statement, about getting it done right. I've seen a number of good potential computer game franchises ruined because it was rushed out the door too quickly, or just not given the attention to detail that was really needed. As fallout is my all-time favorite computer game series, it would be heartbreaking to see it ruined.

That being said, and now referring to the forum post about expectations and being set up for disappointment, I'll admit that it's a worry for me (though, I do tend to worry about everything.. not good for the anxiety level), so I'm trying to be as patient and easy going as possible.

The development began in 2007 and normally gamesas has 4 years to put it online, otherwise they will have to return the license of the mmo to Bethesda. For what i saw on the net...

Indeed, I whole heartedly am willing to wait if the game is good when it comes out.

Bottom line: Take all the time you need.
