Beta in Q1 2012? Any validity?

I just caught this article posted on 10/22/10 at MMORPG. Any validity to it?

Most likely, I think the they are required to release a beta at that time, lawsuit requirement IIRC. Image

2012 has been circulating for quite some time so it seems likely for a public beta.
