Steam functionality?

Really simple question; Will Fallout Online be compatible with Steam?
I use Steam for pretty much everything and many friends of mine do the same.

Anyone else supporting this idea?

This would be a really good idea actually. This would also increase sales, since a wide variety of people purchase games directly from steam. What are you waiting for freeman? A hug?

Not a bad idea. Digital distribution of FOOL would save on the publishing costs of a physical edition. Hopefully such an option is available.

Personally I am mostly interested in a physical copy of the game, but only for any potential collectors edition that may exist. Unless there is something cool to get my hands on (artbook, map, etc.) then I too would be rather happy with some digital version.

I don't think we will know more about what digital options (if any) are available for a while now. I too would like to see it available on Steam, rather fond of the service. Image

Steam as a store? Sure, why not, gamesas already has games on Steam.

Steamworks? Noooooo, there would be too many layers of interaction at that point and it would only lead to issues IMO.
