good marketing!

From what we know FOOL will be released in late 2012 which, if you think about it would be all for the better. You guys should release a couple weeks prior to 12/21/2012 and make the tag line "experience the apocalypse before it arrives" or something to that effect?

Get your vault-gear before the apocalypse, how will you survive without a genuine Vault 13 water bottle! Image

That should be the greatest idea of marketing ever with a video-game.
gamesas would be silly to let this pass. Image

I thought you guys would like! I was talking to my wife about FOOL, and she asked me when it's coming out then she called me a nerd, and then I was like We'll end up wasting 60$ because of the apocalypse  Anyways, I hope Chris picks up on it because I think it'll grab peoples attention big time *cough* I could use a job *cough* :D

I'm just wondering what makes everyone here confident in a 2012 release? Was that said by Chris somewhere?

2012 seems like a really quick timetable for developing and polishing an mmo with the strength of this IP. "What would your good do if evil didn't exist, and what would the earth look like if all the shadows disappeared?"

The lawsuit said something about a 2012 release or something, maybe it was open beta. Don't remember correctly. Image

As an outsider looking in on development, it seems like most of the work behind the Fallout MMO is simply content at this point. The engine has already been provided and I'm sure Masthead has some experience in running an MMO excluding the need for too much trial and error experimenting.

I see I see.

PS
The OP did have a great idea there! "What would your good do if evil didn't exist, and what would the earth look like if all the shadows disappeared?"

I will let my awesome Ghoul Year saying go for a measly high five! (though a beta invite works just as well) LOL :P Image

Should have a contest where the winner gets to be locked in the server room when FOOL goes live and pretend the end of the world just happened. Give 'em a vault suit to wear and some old Mac & Cheese boxes. MMO's... MMO's never change...

Now, that's classic. lol! Love it.

During the commercial, people are running outside in fear, while friends are playing the game online in peace, then the tagline is shown at the end. lol! The name's not important, what I do is. I'm a drifter, a drifter of the Wastes.

Oh man, if they actually used this in commercials or something it'd be awesome.
