Would like to see a new way to get experienced in game

Couldn't find a thread for this topic. But I guess some of you thought of it!

Well I brought up this in another thread. And its about the fact that as a player with a lot of time; lets say you have economic independence. Maybe you young, go to school and have much more play time. You get the point. And from what I seen before (might not seen everything), you'll get so much faster to a "top" in a game where you can slay a monster, and get EXP with that time you have as a person who can spend more then other. This type of gaming feels way too passé for the whole Fallout Online mode IMO!

Well I got this idea by play San Andreas Muliplayer for a long time ago. I Joined this Roleplaying server.
We used the whole map, but mainly Los Santos. And it was so realistic built! Some one worked as a coder and programed so you could basically talk and text from a phone. You could buy houses and businesses with interiors to roleplay in. You bought cars and gas from other users. There was a group who played as cops and FBI. They even had a IRL ex-cop as a trainer, and used ventrilo as a police radio. Then like many mafia families, Italian, Russian, Asian etc. We all started with a LVL system where you got more cash by LVL, but then removed it, and you earned money by being smart in game. So by being a nobody, you could work your way up to the top in a mafia family by playing your cards right. I admit, we took it far! We even had a news paper. And maybe Fallout Online doesn't have to go this far. But it should really have more of this, and less of EXP by just killing.

So I would like to see something new! Were you don't get around by just slaying big monsters.
This time it should be based a lot on your real life experience! Like social life, cooking, repairing and engineering! Even weapon and traps. If you been hiking and such a lot in your life, surviving should be easier for you. I think you see where I'm heading.

Just like in the past Fallout games, your quest been taking different routs by how you been interact with your environment! Take me for example, I like the way that you can talk your way to the top! I wanna be able to do the same online! No bullsh**ting with LVL up by slaying a boss (Im aware of you do get your Exp by slaying bosses in all the FO games), more that you'll get what you really deserve for being wise.

But off course, we have to have a way to be able to climb that experience ladder, so you by time get a better aim, or holding a gun. Or maybe disarm traps and rig them easier! Or to stitch someone and find water nearby faster.

One way to get points could be by training and using stuff.
But not in a way so this using and training stuff could be abused, there should be a side effect if you overdo it.

Maybe one way could be some kind of each one teach one scenario. Then your knowledge would be more worth! And players would hire your service as a teacher. Book writing.. Hmm, don't know.. I just don't want to see the old grinding! It gives me nothing. Too easy and boring.

When you look at this post, try to read between the lines! Hope you get my point, and I hope you guys have other cool ideas how to gently replace the old fashion MMORPG with something new and groundbreaking.

Also, by mix up real life knowledge with a MMO; you could really learn something new and useful for your own life!

Thanks!
