this will no doubt sound like a rather dumb question(i'm old and senile so cut me some slack ). there seems to be 2 forums. the main one here at gamesas and a stand alone one. i can't follow both due to time constraints, so which should i follow? i recognize this is also an awkward question so a private response is fine. just want the best place for the most concise and up-to-date info i can find when i manage to log in and read or post comments. there are 3 games/franchises i've always hoped to see someday as an mmo and this is one of them. so exciting

I assume you're talking about Fallout. In which case this is the forum you should pay attention to. And actually, there is very rarely any new information released. If you sign up for the newsletter, that should keep you up to date of anything actually important and you don't need to check the forums at all. You can find newsletter/beta registration here. Also, if you're not interested in joining the discussion and just want new information as it is released, you only need to check one thread, which is the FAQ. Any time official information is released, it is added to that FAQ. And as you can see it hasn't been updated in two months for the lack of information being released.

that was the answer i was looking for. i already am getting the wasteland newsletter(recently got issue #4?? i think it was) and look for any new info or interesting topics to post on here. i was confused as i thought maybe this was the main FOO forum and the other forum was perhaps slated as the beta(or would be once beta is in full swing in the future). only other thing i could think of is the other forum is player moderated and unofficial whereas this is where the devs would post. once i'd heard that foo was a go, that was the 1st forum i found in fact. it wasn't till i did the beta sign-up that i was referred here. i'm blathering for no reason atm lol. thanx for the answer braverobot.
