Collector's edition - Make your demands

Post » Fri Aug 07, 2009 5:07 am

I could not find any topic on the collector's edition. So I strated this one.

Make your demands people!!! Now is the time!!! What do you whant to have in the Collector's edition? Wheter it's merchandice or game bonus.

And for those who think its too early. No it's not. These things take time, you need to desing them, make or program them, test them (make sure they won't break during transport) and implement them.
Keep in mind that every thing you ask must fit in a box about the size of a cereal box.

As for me I would really like to have:
1) A real blue leather straqed vault 13 water canteen.
2) Bumber sticker or licence plate saying "War. War never changes."
3) A brotherhood of steel, NCR or other new faction flag.

Keep demanding people!!! Now's the time!!!

A BoS mark of some sort would be nice.
That one
could be a pin or a mark that you can sew onto clothing.

Since getting giant models are always fun I would like to either get a miniature Vault Door or a miniature Power Armor/or just the helmet like halo hmm.. 3 i think?

Vault 13 jumpsuit anyone? >,> Image

A Harold/Bob-hat? If of course the game has Harold. If this game is set between 2 and 3, Bob would still be a pretty small, eh?

A few bottlecaps?

A Vinyl record (idea from another great collector edition, but whatever)?

Artbook is a must?

A BOS or Power Armor-helmet?

Laser Pistol?

Miniatures. maybe a random one in different boxes. Someone would get brahmin and someone else a vault-boy. There could be BOS and ghoul and wastelander ones too. Collect them all! :D Image

Well it is 80 years between f2 and f3 (79 years depending on when you start counting), so if it is 5 years before f3 harold would probably be somewhat consumed, 5 years after f2 then there would probably not be much difference from f2-harold.

If it's somewhat between then the tree might have grown a bit larger and started to give out fruits, but not grown so large that it have consumed harold so he is immobilized. Image

I would say a t-shirt designed to look like a vault 13 jumpsuit would be a very nice thing.

The game music would be a great idea. :P But a vinyl would probably be to brittle and not every one has a vinyl player at home.

Sound like some thing "ThinkGeek" guys would do.

There are great sugestions, I'll update them on the first post. "War. War never changes."

I'd like to see a shirt that has the lines "War....War never changes" and the logo....or maybe a vault shirt.

Of course, if it had some sort of really awesome pipboy item...I'd definitely buy it. I just think that it would be hard to get a nice item that isn't expensive for them to have made...

Deathclaw DNA! Maybe you'll sit and sigh, wishing that I were near
Then maybe you'll ask me to come back again
And maybe I'll say "Maybe"

I thought of Vinyl, because I think it's the most 50's type of music-player. And they still make new record-players today. It takes Courage from gamesas to make a Vinyl, since people who don't own a player (around 70%?) will probably be kinda alienated from the edition, unless they are collectors. Image

Your right, the vinyl is a splendid idea, very 50's. But as you said people could be a little alienated.

 Oooook...I'm not sure what tou said, I think there was some thing about NucaCola and a tie. So I'll just add that. "War. War never changes."

That could be hard, need to get agreement with coca cola and I bet you my life that they wouldn't agree to that the container have the name Nuka Cola, they would demand that it said coca cola, im sure of it.

Sorry for being negative :P Image
