Some new weapons

I didn't find any topic about new weapons or player suggestions...except one that refers to various upgrades or something...

I will just blast some ideas...

Chainsaw...
Fire axe...
Heavy plasma weapon...
Heavy electric weapon - something like ghostbusters (movie)...just with standard fallout smoked flesh...
A long shot for fallout universe but how about Liquid nitrogen cartridge for flamer or a grenade so when you freeze the enemies they burst into frozen pieces of meat...
Beretta 93R...
Dragunov sniper rifle...
Milkor MGL...
Sawed-off Browning O/U...
PK 7.62 mm general purpose machine gun...
Small guns flamer (like M240 Flamethrower )
M80 Rocket Launcher...light - simple - one time use (no need to carry a heavy rocket launcher)
Plasma rocket...
Maybe ?? MG 42 universal machine gun from WW2 - strongest machine gun ever made, and it still is...compare it's rate of fire with any machine gun...still used today...somehow I think it doesn't fit Fallout ??? maybe it does ???...(M56 Smart Gun was designed from it..so you all remember the sound...ohhh makes my skin crawl...)

Keep old weapons from Fallout series...like Browning M2...Bozar..etc..
I hope we'll be able to use two one handed weapons...like 2 pistols or Uzi...

I think chainsaw isnt a good idea. do you have a fuel for this in fallout world?:) And run to the Supermutana with chainsaw in hands and scream "for the Amazon tree" in mounth?

Two weapons... Pistols, okay, but with less precision. Shooting with 2 uzi are freaky. I think will be better. if game keep the realism - no 2 M60 oraz six bazzooka's in the same time.

Weapons... Real weapons from World Wars and early '50. And guns from Fallout 1 & 2, of course. IMO quality of guns is more important than quantity. I dont want a horde of pplz with powerful plasma rifle

Hehe...for the chainsaw I only thought...for some fun - killing molerats or similar...hehe or as you say run into mutants...uhh - no fuel...you are right here...so either it would run on alcohol or flamer fuel, or Microfusion cells...but the sound should remain as the real chainsaw ( this weapon is purely for fun - deadly, but if you survive long to use it...I played a few games with chainsaws - sometimes with friends...I always laugh my head off...)...hehe anyway with what melle weapon could you charge a mutant...

For two weapons...I only refer to one handed...as you say pistols or uzi...just that when you mentioned two M60 - a mutant appeared in my mind...so maybe mutants can use "some" big weapons in both hands...but I leave this to the developers...for me only 2 pistols are enough... Its better to live 3 days as a Lion, then spend the rest of your life as a hyena!

Isn't the "Ripper" from the games essentially a chainsaw that runs on batteries?? Fallout Wiki says its a "Vibroblade" but it looks like a chainsaw to me. perhaps the Mutants use a giant "MEGA RIPPER".

But back to the idea of a gas-powered chainsaw, I think it should run on Rotgut Whiskey.

Well yes the ripper is a knife chainsaw...I love it...just that it's small...as for mutants that would turnout to be a chainsword uh-uh I would melt form joy, but sadly it's already in some other game...

Ripper works in the same rules as chainsaw. of course, in smaller scale. Maybe make chainsaw a hard to get easter egg item? For fun:) Not for real killing.

Mutants and 2 weapons. I think mutants with only one weapon has problem with good accurate. Z machine guns + mutant - empty jacket without any hits:)

I want BB guns in V13, this megamess gun always makes me happy:)

This. I love WWII weapons, but how would that fit with the Fallout universe? They've never been any in there, but then why use them when they had super-tech weapons?! They were not even used in the Anchorage battle. Image

Here's hoping for a Beatles-themed quest on V13.

Fallout Tactics had a lot of WWII weapons...and no matter what...they are still among the strongest ones, and some are still used today...
For example Browning M2 http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Browning_M2 or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Browning_M2 ...it was the strongest big gun - especially with .50 Cal Depleted Uranium ammo...

Not everyone has access to super tech weapons...but to weapons that some grandpa stored in the attic... Its better to live 3 days as a Lion, then spend the rest of your life as a hyena!

I feel like there should definitely be a M1 Garand. Especially considering how many of them are still floating around today.
Also, maybe if there was some way to use your gun as an improvised melee weapon. The day I get to pistol whip a super mutant to death is the day I get to die happy.

The M2 is an awesome weapon. I've trained on it and its really fun.

Nice choice...definitely one of the deadliest anti infantry weapons...it holds 700 steel balls - the guy who stumbles into an ambush will have a bad day for sure...

Just realized that I didn't list some trap weapons...since I already listed too much I'll leave the traps for all of you to update...in my opinion a lot of us loves using or setting traps so I hope PV13 will have a lot of different traps (more than Fallout Tactics)...

I will just add one trap a PROM-1 it jumps from 50 to 80 cm literally cutting anything close into two pieces (similar to the laser from Fallout)...and lethal range is around 50 meters, while dangerous fragments fly up to 100 meters or more...

I would personally like to see player created weapons. This would only be possible if there were options/jobs for players to pick from. (armor guy, weapon guy, fruit guy ... i mean food guy, ect...) If we could have a job place ... lets call it a subclass for this. Ok so a guy picks the subclass weaponsmith. At first he can only produce/repair common weapons in the game, like a 9mm. As his skill goes up in weaponsmithing he can take scape parts from various weapons or every day objects and create something on a set pattern.

riffle barrel + cloth = blow gun.
A frame off a car + heavy rubber band = slingshot ..... and yes i made this in the real world so i know it can be done ........ dont try it at home ... unless your Chirs ... then you can do it in the office to show them who the boss is.
Lamp + Gunpowder = lamp bomb

Yes i know the examples are pretty lame, but it shows the type of ideas that could easily go into the game. Plus it would make it easy to keep the fallout feel of every item in rare. Considering you could easily cap how many lamps are put in a set area, how many cars, ect .... It would make players work to obtain a good weapon and it would also make it where you didn`t have 1000 people running around with a 50-cal sniper riffle when the weapon is already pretty rare to find.... even in Texas. :cry: Image

PLEASE...SCRAP the idea of all the modern weapons ruining the feeling and atmosphere of the game...


PLEASE keep the 10mm pistol a revolver.

Please use actual gun names.

Please PLEASE keep the DESERT EAGLE in the game

And PLEASE dont make it svck.

Please make different AMMO for different guns.


The following are my weapons ideas for the new game.

Icepicks made of glass that you get from a glass blower out in the wastes that break off in raiders skin doing a poison typed prolonged damage? Possible PVP where the player would have to get them removed and it would cripple the limb they are in until they did so.

Anti Tranny Super Mutant Spray?

Claymores and Bouncing Betty's (PROM-1\US M16 AP Mine\S-Mine) would definitely be a nice addition.

Please add the Picatinny Rail System so we can modify the weapons for different missions or to our most ideal configuration.

Please keep all of the old Fallout greats (Plasma, Laser, Mini-guns, modern (current) weapons, and etc.) and add new advance ones as well - like weaponized EMP weapons.

The M1 Garand is still very popular (basically resurrected) and here is a very popular format....

Springfield Armory M1 Socom II - I like the model at the end with the picatinny (cluster) rail system, synthetic forestock, adjustable rear stock (I prefer folding), Aimpoint ACOG (although I prefer Trijicon), and I would exchange the Surefire\Fore-grip for a stand alone fore-grip and add an Insight AN/PEQ-2A or AN/PAQ-4C (invisible light sights are a restricted item) and the Aimpoint ACOG with a Nightvision Scope or keep the Surefire\Fore-grip and add a visible laser or stand alone fore-grip and add a visible laser\surefire combo.

As for the Taurus - The Judge handgun - come out with the Judge 2 that can fire larger shotgun rounds. Realistic is nice but it is Fallout so the sometimes silly or the non-existent such as the Plasma rifle is ok. Combine the Judge with a Mossberg 590/930 Roadblocker muzzle break ... LOL.

you should be able to load shotguns with anything, maybe we can have crafting skills to make all kind of shotgun shells, with "murloc eyes", "rotten bat blood", "rat excrement", "nails", "red pepper and salt", and many other crazy stuff with different effects to your foes :mrgreen: :geek: :mrgreen:
