PV13 on facebook and etc...

Few days ago my girlfriend managed to annoy me enough to try out some game on Facebook... Vampire Wars...

Well I'm not into Facebook or others, but it surprised me how it was designed ... so I immediately started to overwrite those vampires with fallout world in my head...and got here...

Anyway you can buy stuff like armor and weapons, dress up your character, gain levels, stats/abilities do missions or fight other players, have minions, gamble, guild castle etc...

So I was thinking why not create Pv13 or some Fallout on Facebook and alike...it's very simple uploading some pictures, making a theme fallout web page and the commands are basic search buttons on web...very simple (Vampire wars has spread to all social community like Facebook, MySpace...and others)

Benefits:

- additional money income for gamesas (although I'm not how the system works, in vampire wars I see if you want some better stuff and stats you pay like 6-120USD so 1 000 000 player * 6USD = 6 000 000 USD - tax = 0 hehe joking)
- no CD, or installation required
- accessible from any computer connected to internet like internet cafe etc..
- You can play it anytime...like at work during your lunch brake....
- marketing / publicity / advertising

Well maybe it's a stupid idea but my aim wasn't for all those gamers, but those other billions people who only play Facebook games and advertise like coming soon a real MMO game try it out etc...although I wouldn't mind kill some people one Facebook and build up my character at work or anywhere until real PV13 gets on to the market...

Not a bad idea. ;)

I suggested it to gamesas early last year. They had already considered it and could not say much more.

I think (purely personal opinion here, no solid facts) due to the legal action that the other company started with gamesas, that gamesas did not want to create a Facebook game of Fallout and then have that other company claim that was their (gamesas's) MMO and that gamesas could not do any further games/MMO's.

So, (again purely personal opinion) gamesas choose to stick with their original plan of a MMO.

Also, even though there are Facebook template game makers out there (War, Ville, and others) I would strongly suggest that you be very careful in attempting to create Fallout like game with them. That other company has plently of money and bored attorneys to come knocking on your door.
