you need TV or monitor, supported 3d mode
and video card, that can support it as well
check http://www.nvidia.com for more details
i dun know really another hardware for playing 3d via PC. but i know it is possible without Nvidia 3d vision

Thanks. I have asked this because before 3D came to cinema and games there were a few movies like Spy Kids 3 that already has 3D without requiring a special monitor. It only needs glasses (those ones with the two colours). I know its a lower quality 3D but I think those glasses would work.

As far as 3D goes, whats up with all the advertisemants in the subway rendering in 3d even if you're playing it in non-3D? It looks stupid.

What you really need is a good video card that supports 3D stereoscopic video/images plus 3D eyeglass that is polarized or designed for anaglyphs.

But if you the money you can buy Autostereoscopic LCD monitor so you don't have to wear a 3D eyeglass.

Anaglyph (bi-color) glasses aer not working with ATI cards and Crysis 2. Isn't that great?
