I agree. As their effin' costumers we DEMAND some answers. Especially with the mess with the 1.2 patch on steam yesterday.

One of the Cry guys just posted in the 360 forum a minute ago talking about weapon balance and blah blah.

No mention of anything to PC users though. Go figure.

Guys flaming at the devs isn't going to make them want to respond, try a well thought out, polite question.

We all understand not being able to play/bugs is a pain in the arse, but these guys are already trying as hard as they can, it's not like they're all sitting in the Crytek office drinking tequila and eating cake, bugs in a game of this scale can't be fixed instantly so just be patient.

The game still works after all, it's just buggy, and if you think Crysis 2 is buggy you should see some of the other games out there!

But valve got 1.2 patch FROM CRYTEK - they didn't developed it by themselves...
And yet, even tho 1.2 patch is READY FOR RELEASE they wont give it to us... Just reminding **** and PS3 already got their patches.

So let me get this straight... you think Crytek has finished the patch, sent it to Steam, and are now sitting back to not give it the rest of the community? You seriously think they'd finish it and then 'not give it to us' - what are they trying to bully us now? Pick on the PC gamers who didn't but it through Steam, this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

Plain and simple, 1.2 ISN'T ready for release yet - if it was, it would have been released, it'll have been a mix up between Steam and Crytek - that kind of stuff happens all the time, just relax and let it go, when the next patch is finished, it'll make itself known to you via the auto-updater.

Yes - it sounds dumb but that's way this company operates.
Ppl who got update from steam last night CHECKED game version - it was 1.2.
After couple minutes steam started to downloading something again - reverted game to 1.1

I think steam WAS told that patch will be released on 1st April... they released it but not with "global patch time" that EA supposedly planned, so they took it fast down...

I dont have any other ideas - if it's not TRUE then why board admins DON'T SAY A WORD FOR WHOLE DAY ?
They posted something everyday - info in random threads like "we are investigating" or other useless ****.
But today - TOTAL SILENCE... i think they know about this ****.

Why not release that 1.2x from yesterday and then add whatever else they want to add as 1.3? That way they could say we've gotten 3 patches and it would at least look and sound better than the bushleague screwup that it turned out to be.

Well, I think they need to learn communication with your consumers again.


The basics: Hiding under a rock and saying nothing= very bad
Speak with the consumers = Very good.

IF they would be good developer we would have nanocatalyst hotfix on day1 on day2 after release - Just take a look @ MAGICKA... mega bugged game on release - but patch almost EVERY DAY.

I guess crytek would get their ass owned by EA if they had similar patch politics.
EA don't want their games to look unfinished and bugged (but all their games are released in such state on PC).
They will pretend that EVERYTHING is OK and make patch as long as they can so it will look for potential customers that game is not bugged at all... not everyone have so much brain to look @ forums and check game condition.

I haven't said i played it on MY PC nor i downloaded it.
It was CRYTEK who leaked BETA version to net.
If you believe otherwise you are just plain stupid puppet...

I don't give PC gamers bad image - PC gamers are only players who use BRAIN when they play their games or they buy one... I trusted that crytek will fix beta bugs - they did nothing... And yet they had balls to tell ppl not to play BETA cause it was UNFINISHED - Game we have now is almost in beta state...

Unfortunately things can't be fixed at the flick of a switch. Until things are fixed, we have no info, until we have info, i can't update you. We're not "hiding under a rock" or purposely not sharing information which we don't have, this is just the unfortunate fact that these things take time.
