I'm waiting for help sorting out my Disc drive so I can install the bloody game!


your not missing much trust me.. nothing but cheaters / hackers what ever u wanna call em ruining the experience, not to mention the bugs that go on..
Still like to play the story though.

I have a feeling the story is going to be awesome...I just want the gameplay options and graphics to back it up.

finished single player @ 99.76% (12/13 unlocks)

not even going to try MP till it's patched

im not sure if u added the Customization pre-load saving issue, meaning when u create a custom option with certain gear etc.. every time u load the game u have to do it all over again as if u never unlocked anything. Thus nothing saves onto ur account / computer same goes with assessments and achievements do not save or count when playing online.


P.S i beat the Campaign, its alright i like the story and game play some minor bugs but nothing crazy annoying, anyone playing single player will enjoy it, anytime you think it will end it doesn't, expect Crysis 3 (sorry for the spoiler lol..). the only thing i don't like is there is a large amount of ammo everywhere but sometimes no ammo for the gun you wanna use especially near the end of the game when it gets a bit more difficult and you need a bigger gun to complete it

Have someone try the multiplayer demo?

i remember the demo had extreme graphics even on the gaming graphics mode crossfire and sli worked for everyone and now its full game release with not that quality, thats really bad to release without that same quality who remember the same thing on the demo?

im definitely waiting for a patch the game has soooooooo much possible potential but they need to fix the game for the potential to show. i payed 60$ like most people here and i am only going to play single player mode and want to play through it once its fixed right. i want to see cry2 in ALL of its glory cause once fixed it will look damn good ! now all we need a freaking patch to make it playable!!!!

I disagree on this one. I have tried to sit down with is a couple times now and it's just to dissapointing. I feel like I may as well turn off my computer and go play Halo on xbox. Hoping for patches...

Seriously though, some of the textures and objects in the game are horrible. Not that everything in the previous Crysis games were completely perfect or even close to it BUT there was so much eye candy and WOW moments the bad things were excusable. With Crysis 2 it looks cartoony and mediocre...and the bad textures and objects are even worse so they really stand out. There was one scene where I was walking in the water and there was garbage floating on the top except it was all 100% flat, flat bottles, flat goop etc. Terrible.

I guess if you don't pay attention to the graphics and just play the game then it would look like "the best looking game out" but the minute you pay attention it's not good at all. Crysis 1 and WH forced you to pay attention to the amazing graphics simply by being to good.

Multiplayer is fairly playable even with the immense amount of cheaters, so I'm playing it. I couldn't really give a hoot about DX11 or the graphics for that matter. I just want to play the darn game and not froth at the mouth over graphics.

Only 14 people out of 550 do not care about a patch with well over 50% holding off on even playing until one is implemented. The rest waiting for improvements and fixes. Let's break 600 today, this is the feedback we need to provide to Crytek.

The bug stopping me playing the game is the nano catalyst reset bug - don't want to play the game without being able to upgrade my suit.

I had a weird glitch where sometimes I could absorb the "alien essence" or whatever it is and sometimes I coudn't as well.
