Some FPS troubles.

Hello, I have, as I think, quite good computer. - Intel Core i5 760 (2.8Ghz 4 core), Nvidia GTX295, 8GB DDR3 1066 Ram, and still I have on the lowest settings with 1280x720 resolution not more then 90 fps ingame, and usually it stays in range - 35-45 fps. Also I have a friend, who has ATI Radeon 4890, Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550, and 4 GB DDR3 1066 Ram, and he has with almost equal settings (except resolution, he has 1024x768) not less then 100 fps, and the minimal fps he saw was 79. Could you advise something how to increase fps? Or where the trouble could be?

Thanks.

The is probably something wrong with your drivers because tour card is a dual GPU one. Its like GTX260 SLI on one card (wich I have) and i get more fps than that with one card on this resolution.

1) There is a problem with SLI with the game now...wait for the 1.2 patch for SLI support
2) Your drivers are out of date...try to update

FYI I had problems with some maps in SP and some in MP...nothing to do

It could be a case of outdated drivers. I have a Q9550 running on stock and a HD 5850. I can run the game on lowest settings at 1680x1050 and my framerate constantly feels 60 or higher most of the time. Im sure your rig should be able to get performance like that as well.

For the performance drop issue...I had the samething on like 3 maps of SP (drop to like 10fps vs the constant 70-90).
Not a driver issue because I have the lastest installed.

vdros, is it happening when there is water? Because most of the time it happens for me when I can see water (but not always)
