Official Thank You letters for Crytek

Post » Tue Oct 19, 2010 3:21 pm

We can all express what we are thankful for to Crytek here in this thread. I'll start.

Thank you, Crytek, for making me lose my accumulated upgrades and stats in multiplayer and singleplayer. It's that kind of innovation to make us keep playing longer that I hope other developers learn to use in the future.

Thank you Crytek

I havent yet discovered my Epilepsy after trying your game on my brand new computer.

And i love that you have gone away from that awful "end of the line graphics" so that your game wont be used in benchmark test and so on.

When i start this game and see the blizzard of flickering with no patch comming to fix it .. i am happy and content inside

Sincerly Richard

Thank you Crytek for making me look forward to Battlefield 3 even more now. I suppose Portal 2 and Shift 2 are the games to help pass the time between now and then.

thank you crytek for making me go over the same sp portion again and again because you were smart enuf to remove quicksaves and make checkpoints even longer. I also thank you for having such ground breaking and unheard of features like mouse and keyboard support.

Maybe in future we may, you know, have something like customizable graphics. I know, I know that is tough for anyone to implement but is it a crime to dream?

Thank you crytek for proving once and for all that PC gamers are a bunch of whiney self absorbed holy-er than thou but tons still hack and pirate stuff to **** then wonder why devs prefer consoles.

Thanks. The end of PC gaming is coming, but not becuase of devs. Because of the retarded whiney hacking playerbase.

**** OFF.
The game doesn't work on PC.
I bought it through steam.
So piss off and troll elsewhere.

---

Seriously CryTek, this is freaking ridiculous.

I still can't play Crysis 2 (without battling aliens and seizures).

This is how you treat your loyal PC fans?
You know, the fans that made your company into what it is today?
You know, the people that paid for your product so you could continue to make more?
You know, the gamers that built/bought super awesome PC's to specifically play your game.

And then you return the favor by sitting there silently while your most devoted fanbase anguishes with a broken game [it is unplayable].

Thanks Crytek.

lol if they are retarded they wouldn't know how to hack. Give a console kid a keyboard and ask him to locate the "return" key and see what happens.

And on another note, thank you crytek for using the money you got from us PC gamers for Crysis/Warhead to make a complete buggy third rate console port of a sequel.

Thank you, Crytek

You saved me $60 that I thought I was going to spend on your game. Thank you for making a game that's not worth my money or my time so that I can spend it on developers that care about their PC audience.

Thank you Crytek,

For not letting me play the game I bought to play multiplayer to pass sometime and have fun while lying in a d**n hospital bed after having a f*****g surgery.

Instead I am reading the only book that I brought with me: a f******g one million pages of computer graphics with OpenGL.

Thank you Crytek for making me a responsible student and study even though I need some cheering up.

Sincerely,
An angry customer

Thankyou crytek

For being Liars and money grabbing douches

For not hiring a decent community manager

For not being bothered about Multiplayer

For caring for the needs of cheaters and pirates first before paid customers

For me being £34.99 down

For giving me a sad face

For making me want to punch Yerli in the ballsack with maximum strength

For not including said maximum strength

For making me feel the need to write this post

For making me want to vomit every time I hear 'soon' or 'never confirmed'

Thank you, oh great Crytek (and Mr Yerli), for the broken game. I didn't need any stinking nano points any way. I bet, even if I had them and bought some Nano super powers, they probably wouldn't work either. Why build a new Cryengine 3 that boasts all this new Technology and use it to make a game less visually stunning than Crysis 1. While we are on that subject, let's talk about Crysis 1 and the failed attempt to get everyone to jump on the "DX10" Vista band wagon by making only the highest settings available in Vista. I enabled the highest settings through the config files and was able to play on XP with all eye candy. mmmmmmm...
Quote Digital Battle While CryTek hasn’t officially revealed DirectX 11 features for Crysis 2 (it hasn’t revealed the game yet — only announced), it’s a fact that the game will be build using the new CryEngine 3, which includes full DX 11 support across the board. Crysis was originally a poster boy for DX 10, and it looks like Crysis 2 will take the same role for DX 11.......NOT
