I know the PC gets the stick for piracy alot but I can rarely see the piracy figures for consoles? I know for the last gen there where quite a lot of chipped consoles around and was just wanting to try and find what the piracy rate is.

theres a huge difference between ilegal downloads for pc and consoles. CoD black ops/BC2 hit 4mil+ and 3.8mil + downloads ilegal in 2010. Its because there is no punishment for it unlike consoles where you lose online activitiy + gametag/score.

You do for the games that have been pirated usually due to key checking and also having to trust someone else hasnt changed or altered the files for spyware so there is usually punishment of some form.
