Here's my idea: when you pick Air Stomp, you also get Air Dash. You activate it by pressing the jump button in mid-air. It makes you zip through the air sideways in the direction you choose.
Using the air-dash costs as much energy as a super jump.
You can only use the air-dash in a normal jump, not a super jump. That should keep people from getting up on parts of the map they shouldn't have access to.
The dash doesn't move you very far. A walking super-jump forward would make you land in the same spot as a walking jump -> air-dash forward.
In a close encounter, a quick air-dash could throw off your opponent's aim. In some cases, an air-dash could help you aim an air stomp.
Maybe a movement ability like this really should be a power perk instead of an armor perk, but whatever. I already want every power perk, and I don't need to make that decision even more difficult.
