Ok, I just give up on multiplayer.

Horrible hit detection.
Horrible lag.
Too many bugs & glitches.
Everyone uses stealth (seriously wtf...)

For a company who completely hates Activision and tries to dis on Call of Duty, this game plays way too much like it with its killstreaks & perks. If I want to play a game like Call of Duty, I'll just go ahead and play an actual Call of Duty.

Although I think the campaign is riddled with problems, it's a very enjoyable game but the multiplayer is just a complete mess. I'll just be having fun with campaign and hopefully the developers will work on the online component.

OMG people use stealth, it requires me to change my style, and think otherwise then I would when I played Call of Duty, RUN!!!

On a serious note though, i believe Call of Duty does alot right in multiplayer. As I see it, crytek has taken what works and added their stuff to it, which thrills me.
Think of it as a rebooted cod multiplayer, with much better level design and nanosuits.... I can't see what's not to like.

Glitches and bugs will be fixed in time. But this is the most entertaining FPS multiplayer I have played at least since Call of Duty 2

The games only been out for nearly a week, stop whining about the problems, i'm sure a patch is coming or something so far ive not had a lot of problems besides the relay falling through the floor of the map in capture the relay.

After beating the honestly amazing singleplayer (played through twice, something I rarely do for shooters) I was hugely disappointed in the multiplayer part of the game. Everything the OP cites I am seeing as well. Lag, poor hit registry, glitches, and now cheaters are practically crawling out of the woodwork. On top of all this I cannot progress; I play a few games, go from rank 12 to 13, and no matter what, it doesn't stick. I can't unlock stuff for my rifle because, despite it being unlocked, the challenges for it still say locked. We are a week past release and a vast majority of people are atleast still having moderate problems with the game.

I completely agree on every single thing you wrote EXCEPT the fact that I'm playing on Xbox 360 (I chose this version because I think it's the best f the 3, but that's my opinion) meaning that a patch is not likely to come... We never get patches on console games, only a fw major update usually 1 or two months after the release that introduces new bugs and exploits... And then one or two DLC, and then it's over: devs do not care anymore.

PLUS, I don't know if you noticed but devs ARE MISSING ON THE FORUMS! NO answer to ANY burning thread. WTF? I think the game sold well, that's ok for them, mission complete... --'

So, as for the title: "Ok, I just give up on multiplayer" - I gave it up too.
Since Saturday I managed to make game run only once through more than a single session (it was 2.5 - than I was booted again), I don't have patience to it and yesterday I did not even try to do anything nor I plan till the patch release. Sad... very sad. Equally good I could not buy this game at all.

Yeah, you know, rather major bugs are supposed to be fixed BEFORE release. People don't pay to be beta testers.
