last time BF was a bit behind Crysis. For BF 3 to be behind crysis 2 they really need to **** things up seriously.
I dont like BF so much and bought crysis 2 right away. This wont happen the next time... For me on PC Crysis 2 is a bid let down.

And i believe when crysis 1 came out there were alot of people complaning they couldnt even run it on there pc, Now crysis 2 comes out with we will say a little more freindly to all pc owners and you get people biching about that now. EA, once again EA should be the one people are pissed. Not crytek...... If i were EA i would of made it for all consoles and pc because people will buy it...... If this was just released for the pc, with all your amazing graphics you want this game would of sold about a quarter of what this game sold. Your taking out the consoles, and some pc people that wont be able to afford an upgrade for there pc. The only thing i would of done diff. is maybe extend the deadline to iron out a little more bugs

They wouldn't drop DX9 even if it was a PC exclusive. C2 dropped so much content and features to achieve it's glorious 'optimization' I'm not sure we can even call it optimization rather than reduction... While BF3 will probably only add on to previous, which is probably a bit heavier on the puter. But who knows, we'll see.

I disagree, why you are talking from the side of many peoples, since you are only one. The crysis game is very good. It is hard to tell if it will be better than Battlefield since this game is still in development and it will be newer than crysis. So
maybe the only mistake that crytek did that they did advertised the game as DX11 , apart of this it is a great title.

I am not disappointed.You cannot compare crysis 1 to crysis 2 because crysis 2 is a PC GAME and crysis 1 is a super computer game.Crysis 1 is fun to play only if you have a $2000 to $ 3000 monster machines.Only a few minor PC gamers have that type of rigs.90% of the pc gamers own only below 150$ cards.It was a huge mistake to develop a eye candy unplayable game to satisfy the minority gamers(this is what happend to crysis 1) Crytek did a really good job by optimizing these game for REAL PC GAMERS instead of satisfying millionaires.

It's a matter of preference, of course. And so is if you don't consider straight out lying about the content of the game a mistake, to the audience. PC fans of the previous titles, to be exact. If it makes you feel any better, just imagine 'marketing' instead of every 'lie' word you read on this forum.

But that does not change the sad facts about this game on PC, or it's sad relation to it's predecessors. It's an alright game and those into CoD enjoy this most probably, too. But it's not what they sold to the PC fans.

eeh.. PC gamer were so silly when Crysis 1 came out.
They tried to set the settings to "High", because they thought "oh hey, my rig is so new, it should run".
But now we are in 2011!!!!!!!!
4 years after Crysis 1 our rigs should be MAXIMUM POWERFUL.
Cevat said in 2007, that probably the game can only be maxed out in 2 or 3 years.
Why do people just don't set the game to 'Low' or 'Middle' and enjoy the fancy graphics?

Suppose the console became more popular because of not worrying about upgrading every six months or so. Gamers related to it, and of course good marketing. Well actually the main stream gaming unit back in the day were hand helds and then consoles (Atari mostly). Still its hard to swallow a nicely chocolate coated carrot (Crysis) and have it made into an asparagus (crysis2).

Exactly, also blame EA for being cheap bastards and making multiplayer with gamespy, *cough* MP crack in less then a week *cough* I'm never going to buy another Crysis game, why should I? When I can DL it and enjoy just like someone who actually paid 60$ for it.

Also I don't give a **** about the graphics. What really pissed me off that I bought the game and some other **** on my steam friend list played the game with a crack and joined my room, then aimbotted everyone.
Seriously, they don't even have a ban function? I see around 20 hackers each day that ruins the fun for everyone -.-
