This is about the unlock system resetting/slideback/not sticking issue
i dont care how many people have posted about it before, this is my post, its directed at crytek and not the players, i dont wanna start an argument, i hope that people will agree with my point...

Crytek i loved ur first game, i waited years for the sequal and spent my hard earned cash on it and what do i get???? One of the most broken games ive ever seen, a game that i cannot even play cause i cant get past level 17 without all my progress constantly been reset, this is stupid, why have u not fixed it? dont get me wrong seriously i am a huge fan of the crysis universe but this game is a joke, this game wouldnt even exist without the pc fan base and market from the first game and now you treat us like this? as a customer this is unacceptable, sort your prioeties out, we expect far better from you.

i know there are many, many other BIG PROBLEMS (like: cheaters, never ending countdown lobby bug, random mid match losing connection bug, difficulty selecting a server because of jumpy list) that also require instant attention but the level setback bug in my mind is the most serious and requires a rapid fix, this bug makes the game a waste of money and time, and thus totally unplayable....

Maybe stop cheating?

For jumpy server.....um, try the cancel button to stop refreshing servers.
Does it still reset levels? I try to play 3 or max 4 games on one server than jump to lobby. haven't had problem since.

You're right. This combined with the amount of hackers (the update didn't do anything to stop them) makes the multiplayer really tedious to play.

theres a fix for the unlocks resetting what yo do is unlock the weapons while in a ranked server then play a round and at will save the settings.

this wont apply for some weapon attachments tho if the weapon reverts to locked again.

but it does apply to all weapons and suit mods.

Firstly i dont cheat, i hate cheaters, what gave you the indication i cheated? secondly its not really applicable calling them hackers as hacking requires an element of skill, and so far what ive learnt about cheaters in this game is that all they do is edit the game files (they admit it to me in servers, not the brightest bunch) which requires no skill, thirdly yes there is a slight work around that i do use, joining an empty ranked server, cutomising your desired gear and then leaving works for me and other people too, but this is still unacceptable, why should i have to do that to ensure i can progress through the game? thanks for the responses everyone, maybe if we keep hastling them they will eventually fix this instead of leaving the game more broken than a hokers self esteem...

for pure evidence of cheaters, next time you play take a few seconds to look up the leaderboard for kills, the top 100 or so people have incredible numbers of kills, with kill to death rations of like 50000.00% which is physically impossible to achieve without cheating concidering how long the game has been out, which is also totally unaceptable for a game people payed money for, this game has great potential but the leveling system bug and cheaters really drag it down...

Wow... i really must be the rare guy who has almost no problems with this game... i dont want to jinx myself but i read that people have quite some problems but not for me ... in single player i havent had any bugs or anythin of that sort or nano catalyst reseting... multiplayer weapons save allright(i do it in ranked lobby) and i rarely hit the hacker... im usually the guy who gets the worst problems of the game but seems like this 1 is evaded i strongly believe that in a week or 2 we will have almost hack free comunity with 0.1% of bugs

well your quite lucky dude, i didnt run into any of these at first (still havent ran into the nano catalyst bug, and have only met maybe 10 cheaters so far) but the leveling bug got me after a couple of hours, i really hope your right, i want to love this game, but these setbacks keep me from doing so, i do think crysis one was better and not just caus it wasnt broken, i just enjoyed the story & sandbox & destructability more, i felt like more of a special forces guy when you get dropped on the island and your squad gets ripped appart 1 by 1, i really got into it, plus i prefered the jungle, crouching in the bushes while you mark enemies, attacking a settelment taking out a few guards then disapearing, leaving your foes in fear, i felt like predator in a nano suit sept without the arm mounted cannon and the purring, its a shame this game didnt capture that, but dont get me wrong the single player story on this game is its best feature, i did enjoy it, funny thing is i almost didnt buy ths game caus from the demo it looked like another call of duty carbon copy that focused entirely on the multiplayer and neglected the story, wow was i wrong...
