NAT and in game communication

So I've been playing the PC version of C2 multiplayer everyday since its release, and its only just struck me that in all the games i've been in only afew games have had fairly chatty gamers. Just wondering if its purely because people are just not chatting to each other or if its the strict NAT protocols that i'm kinda stuck behind blocking peoples messages? I know from xboxlive that strict NAT has prevented me from using voice chat with other players...

been meaning to get a new internet router...BThome hubs are crap

I havent really seen much chat either on pc. Text, voice, or otherwise... i think its due to the short short round times and the odd way chat is set up in the lobby.

I suppose, I really hate after a match the win or lose screen prevents you from text chatting
