yeah exactly the same with the DX11 info, how do you stop a rumor, by deleting all threads relating to it or by setting the record straight with facts...like when where and how we will get it if ever. I know which option would eliminate rumors ASAP but does Crytek...I think not.

Relax noone will be working 24\7. Crytek don't rush with the patch. Create is as much time as you need

Anyway yeah, I think Crytek is in a mess because they have to fix the game on 3 different platforms with different communities and many many bugs; I also understand how pc community feels, betrayed by the sequel of the "most hardware demanding pc game ever" which has seen the light of the day with DX9 while people would expect DX11 and, most importantly, tons of bugs. Furthermore, cheaters are rooted in many MP matches [using EU servers I found them in like 10% of the games I played, but I guess US is in a worse situation].
Crytek promised a patch by the end of this week (which could have ended yesterday for them), but we didn't receive any information.
If patch isn't ready I think they should say so, people will get angry, but I don't think they will stay calm and happy if no patch is released.

I'm giving time to Crytek and hoping everyone will be able to play a bug/cheat-free game soon enough, but not many people might be as patient as I am.

They are silent because they are fixing the PC, 360, and PS3 versions of Crysis 2 and all the bugs in them, are still making DX11 for Crysis 2 PC, are making Codename Kingdoms for 360 as part of their Microsoft partnership, AND they are also making Warfare. Oh yeah they are also making Sandbox Editor 3 in order to compete with UDK lol. They will be busy. I think Crytek is going to fix all the bugs and get DX11 with advanced options out for Crysis 2, then focus on that new Codename Kingdoms and sandbox editor 3. Warface could be something they do later on, after Sandbox editor 3 is released.

will they put destruction in crysis 2 like they put in crysis 1?
