killing the excitement of gameplay - Farming

i really hope you guys dont plan on making PV13 the mmo standard game where you need to constantly kill 100 respawning raiders/giant rats/whatever, mine for hours or buy and craft thousands of materials to advance a level. like in any other games i dont want to play a bored year to get my level up
(of course, i have to mention that when the gameplay drags you away so well that you dont even watch your exp meters just continue wandering the wastes/questing/bartering/killing because your so excited is i guess the best option).
i really wish to see random encounters with random loot, options on fighting or talking your way out, a really huge variety of quests not only the go and kill a hundred molerats etc..
well thats enough for what i wouldnt like to see
what would be good in my opinion is that you get exp for almost everything like you did in 1 and 2
lockpick, computer hacking, maybe even succesful sneak attempts, stealing, gambling, completing speech checks etc.
i hope you dont mind but i wish to mention NV as i absolutely love how they made advancing levels in it, it wasnt really the main part
