Post » Tue Nov 09, 2010 9:44 pm

Hey guys heres my dillema. so i been playin CRY 2 for just over a week now. and the trouble im having is that well i cant figure out how to gain better XP for my power module. Im at the rank of 32 with both Armor and Stealth module sitting at 12 and the power module is only at 10. i dunno what to do to get better xp with module because i can put up 4,000+ xp with armor and stealth in a match, no problem but i only get maybe an 1800 for my power module and thats with a game that i really played very well on. please let me know what i can do or which module actually helps me get better xp for it. I look forward to what you guys have to say and thanks for any positive feedback.

I'm not 100% certain but I seem to level Power quicker than the rest? I do a lot of jumping and climbing and have been hammering the Rapid Fire perk.

I use the faster reloading perk a lot I have a bad habit of reloading after killing an enemy even if another one is behind him. I reload...a lot. I also sprint, slide, and power jump a lot.

as far as i know, suit mode leveling works by dividing the xp you earned by 2, and then distributing it among the three modes based on percentage of TIME spent in them. so for example if you spend a round mostly running around in stealth, you'll get stealth xp. i don't think modules have anything to do with that.

so to level up power you simply must refrain from using stealth or armor a lot

right i see your point. and i dont think the modules got alot to do with it either. because ive maxed out weapon pro aim enhance and and am bout 30 kills away from maxing out the mobility enhance. so yeah ill try more jumping runiing climbing and ****. thanks for the feedback i apreciate it

Sidepack, Aim Enhance, Rapid Fire, Weapon Pro, Loadout Pro.
they give power exp when killing enemys. Do not only use cloak or armor all the time, that will decrease your power exp. Exp gained from challenges add to your power exp if your not cloaked or in armor mode, when you gain them. So check your challenges and try to kill as many without using cloak or armor.

Dont use any armor or stealth but use nanovision a LOT and it seems to go up way faster.

From my experience, getting kills with a module increases the XP, but some are passive. You just need to choose an active one.

For example, Side Pack won't level Power as it's passive - the kills you get will be classed as Armour kills or Stealth kills. Use Rapid Fire though for example and it'll be the Power module helping you, so it gets XP.

I could be wrong, but that's how I see it. Running and jumping increase it too, but not a huge amount, in the same way being cloaked increases Stealth, but you really need to be getting kills within 8 seconds of de-cloaking to get kills to count for additional XP.
