Armor Mode in MP

The cloak-uncloak-shoot gameplay is what makes Crysis2.. well, Crysis2. It's not that this is the only tactic that works, it's just the easiest tactic to use before you have modules available such as mobility enhance - therefore everyone does it to start, and will continue to use it as long as it's good for them.

Armour is fine as it is, the only problem is that you're lit up like a Christmas tree while using it, so you end up taking more damage than normal. I'm fine with that, and don't use cloak nearly as much as I used to; but that's just me, some guys prefer to moan on the internet.

I just took marshall + mobility enhance while cloaking all the time and rushing everyone i see. Oh, 20/5 ! Considering the fact that is was the first time I used this technique, guess what... Stealth>Armor! \o/

yes briliant idea

except if you actualy look at the reality of the game and the modules provided in the game, enchanced armour would become compleatly imbalanced, a perk that would give you 2 times the normal HP with armor on oh and than there is energy transfer, you realy don't think a perk that at level 3 restores something like 70% of your energy might be just a tad bit broken with your suggestion?

Armour reduces incoming damage by like 35%.
When you're health is critical, energy is drained instead of health. Just like Crysis 1.

That's how it works now. Please get it right.

What's your point? The prupose of cloak is to be unseen, the purpose of armour is to survive longer in battle. The way you're playing of course cloak is more useful to you. Now try a situation where you're being shot at, which is more useful then?

EDIT: better yet, try playing Crash Site. Most of the people that complain about **** in this game have never played anythng but TDM. In Crash Site, cloak is not much use at all. It's more about armour and defending the crash site. In these games Air Stomp is also VERY useful. In one day's worth of games I ended up gettin 30 kills by Airstomp; most of which were multikills from clearing Crash Sites of enemies.

Marshall works great with the silencer if you mix it with mobility enhance+covert ops or mobility enchance+stealth enhance. You can basically do what I'll venture to call "cloack warping". The latter gives you the possibility to uncloack and cloack so much faster that you can just keep shooting while moving a few steps around. It confuses a lot of opponents.

The problem is that being unseen is way better than +35% health in 90% of situations.

Then, too bad for you, when reading your post, I just finished a crash site game something like 5 minutes before. I ended up MVP with 630 objective points and 20kills/11deaths. With, of course, tha same class as yesterday (Marshall+Mobility enhance, playing cloak and run/jump only). You go so fast when srpinting+cloaking that I NEVER lost a One on One firefight. Quite logical, as enemies must aim at something that they barely see and runs at the speed of light. I takes something like 1 second to defeat an opponent in armor (shotgun+melee = instakill).

Hell, having just ONE player dedicated to tagging on a team almost nulls Cloak single handedly if they arnt blind.

First of all, tagging a cloaked enemy takes more time, and they would have to follow me going at the speed of sound. Plus a lot of people do not even know this feature exists. Then being cloaked silences your footsteps. Nanovison... I lol'd at that one. All it does is draining energy, and does not help at all to spot cloaked dudes. Then I guess you have eagle eye to naturally spot people USING AN ABILITY SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED SO AS TO CONFUSE HUMAN EYE.

Armor has one counter: every weapon or even melee. I do not use it anymore except to avoid taking fall damage and survive grenades. Headshot multiplier is so high and hitboxes are so glitchy that it just makes you even easier to kill since it slows you down enough to allow an easy HS.

You may be good at maths, but seriously you must dramatically svck at this game to tell loads of BS like this.

If you think I svck play me if you are on PC, ill hand your ass to you. I have a 4KDR, 3w/l ratio and im MVP in half the games I play. I have 1k kills with the SCAR, SCARAB, Feline and coming up 500 with the Gauss. You say I svck and then act like Cloak is even difficult to spot LOL.

EDIT: Just found out you play on console, that explains a lot to be honest. You cant tag very fast because of controllers and you cant spot Cloak because you are playing on 720p. Then when it comes to sound almost every console player out there pays no attention to it, you are most likely included. Only the rare few that have a decent headset actually utilize sound.

Get on PC, get better at the game, etc and you will see Cloak isnt an issue for anyone average or better.

OMG, I understand now: You're just a f*cking troll. I play FPS games on consoles as well as on PC. In both cases I've got skill going through my veins buddy. I won't even answer that taunt. I have NOTHING to prove and I answered trolls like you too many times before. I know I'm a very good player (leaderboards agree) and I you seriously think I'm impressed, you are wrong dude. If I were playing on PC I swear I would have kicked you arse, but fortunately for you I chose the best of the three versions of C2... =)

Low settings at 720p = best version. LOL. You probably have trouble spotting uncloaked players at distance lmao.

Once again ive refuted your points. You wrongly think Cloak silences your footsteps, you wrongly think tagging Cloaked players takes longer than uncloaked.. I mean wow.. do you know anything about this game? Sorry but if you think Cloak is hard to spot you arnt even average.
