I use to be PC but with all this DRM **** coming out and hacks in-game increasing i just gave up.

Now i'm Xbox all the way, only play the RTS(total war) games on PC now for the offline play(unless they are **** over by steam or DRMempire/napoleon/shogun 2) Then i either don't buy or get it for free ;)

Not to mention the weapon balance is way off a recoiless weapon with one of the highest RTF & awesome hip fire Accuracy, does not work for pc at least perhaps console but its broken on pc, i also feel like hit detection is retarded on pc version

I haven't seen a cheater on PC, yet.

Anyway. PC is the best platform because consoles are now far too old. Also, consoles will never recover from their technological handicap due to their target audience and size, so you may as well get used to playing on PC if you like cutting edge games. The age of consoles as a hardcoe platform is soon to be over.

With regards to PC hardware: I don't really care. In terms of company ethos it's also a very tough call between AMD and Intel. AMD are more open and tend to provide far better value products to their customers but Intel are are the forefront of semiconductor technology. Overall i like them both :D At the moment my CPU is an i5-2500K and my last one was a phenom II X4.

I don't really understand what the thread starter is asking. Is he asking which of the 3 we prefer to play games on? Which version of Crysis 2 we prefer? Is he asking just out of curiosity or is he getting opinions because he plans on buying one of the 3 in the near future?

I'm slowly getting back into my PC after playing mostly the PS3 for past year or so. The PC just feels better, better graphics, mouse/keyboard is superior to everything just about. I could never just really get comfortable with the controller outside of an Action/Adventure game.

Only thing bad about PCs is you have to spend more (not every year like console owners claim) and usually deal with more cheaters than you would on the console I think. I have a boner for server browsers though, and everytime I play a console game outside of a couple they just fel so damn dumbed down. At least PC games over more in depth stuff and variety (Shogun 2 is nice).

Personally, I do most of my gaming on the PS3. As far as why I chose that instead of 360, I like the exclusives (especially Ratchet and Clank). I also like playing games that are not first or third person shooters (Ratchet and Clank, God of War, Darksiders, etc.) and for games like that a mouse and keyboard doesn't work as well or feel as good as a controller.

There is rarely anything on PC that I want. In this year, there is only one PC game I want, and that is The Witcher 2. Next, any games that I rarely play multiplayer on have fewer cheaters on consoles than PC. I also don't have to contend with DRM or cloud gaming. Sorry if I am old-fashioned that way, but when I pay money for a game, I should be able to play it whether I have internet or not, AND years and years from now if these companies go out of business, I want to still be able to play my games even though the servers have been shut down.

I mean, think about it. For those of you who have been gaming long enough to remember, what if you had a console from way back and wanted to play a game that was made by a company no longer in business? If that game was made today, you wouldn't be able to play it because the servers that handle the DRM would have been taken down and the game won't let you play.

As someone who still has all my old systems (NES, SNES, N64, PS1, Gameboy, Dreamcast), that would svck.
