Try renameing crysis.exe to rift.exe and download catalyst 11.3

Crysis.exe as in the original game ?or do you mean crysis2.exe/bat as that is all i can see and i have just installed 11.3 it has helped but there is still flickering there

You can also rename it from crysis2.exe to bioshock.exe . I've heard that has worked for many people.

Running the same stuff you got, the new drivers and crossfire profiles fixed my issues.
Please do note that I am using a custom graphical settings, so you might want to try first newest drivers and profiles, if it still keep on flickering, try disabling your second monitor (if you have such).

Otherwise create a your own autoexec.cfg, google for "know how".

I have 5970 also.With version 1.0 I didint have flickering but after 1.1 it started to me also.I just installed latest app profiles 11.3 cap1 and fixed it .

Radeon Pro fixed the flickering first day. No scouring the net trying different drivers or profiles.

Not the first game to give me flickering trouble...Radeon Pro always fixed it until AMD / ATI stable drivers came out..

Only takes a minute to D/L and set up profile ( I use the Bioshock X-Fire profile ) ..no renaming exe. ( which you can't do for Steam games )..no altering config..no installing and uninstalling drivers...bahhh.

Can't say enough about it...should be part of Catalyst.

so far all fixes WILL have an effect on performance, and chances are they will push your GPU up to 99%, catalyst developer admitted it himself on Twitter and said they hope to have a fix for it this week. Afraid you are just going to have to wait a while.
Interestingly, Nvidia claim that the multi GPU flickering problem (long 70+ page thread on this btw) is Crysis 2s problem, not something they can fix. So will have to wait and see
