New PC and only 30 fps?

To quote Gundam 00 " Your machine is Five years old. Your time in this world has already ended." Get a New GPU. You sir have a GPU bottleneck. Get your self a 580 and enjoy your CPU bottleneck.

well i have
i7 980x (6 core) 3.33GHz
12GB RAM 1333MHz
2x GTX 460 (1GB) running in SLI

i havnt checked the fps i get on the full version yet, never bothered using fraps while playing.. but i was getting 50-90 fps on maxed settings on the demo.. i run black ops at 290 fps.. so i was a bit disappointed

On 290 FPS?
What a waste of money,no offense but your next electricity bill will be huge if you play Black Ops alot. ^^

If you can somehow lock the frames on 100 or something i would do that.Mother nature and your wallet will thank you.And your graphics card also. ;D

Well I do run it without SSAO with no AA or Vsync and so far my fps was 55-60

What you should do (assuming you have a little cash): buy a 400 or 500 series and use the 9800 as a physx.

There are only a few games that actually support Physx... None of the Crysis games support it.

There will be more, and its better than just trashing the card.

Dont run the top settings if you want frame rate. I had a 570 (sent it in for stepup to a 580) and I ran max settings at 60FPS. I put it down to very high and I get 120.

Get Gtx 590 + overclock the **** out of it = Frame rate Profit.

Using a 6870 myself. Runs the game good. At the very least get like a 5770 or something.

Frame rate profit doesn't happen when you buy from EVGA.
