Look on the bright side. Battlefield 3 will be better than this as im quite certain they won't be porting it as the BF series are centered around PC.

Don't be too sure.

Before BC2 was released DICE sayed it will be no console port on PC.What was it?The worst and most obvious console port ever.Even more obvious as Crytek's **** 2.

Well it is confirmed for consoles as well. And from past experience, that normally leads to a port.

tbh i didnt play much of BC2 as i stuck more to MOH.

Crysis 2 gameplay was first shown from the xbox.

Battlefield 3 gameplay was shown from PC. So hopefully it wont be that bad

PC is actually the lead version for BF3 this time. No lies. DICE knows what they are doing. They'll be the first Multi-Plat release in years and years that was made from the ground-up with PC's in mind. They see a need growing and they know that the time has come to move PC gaming forwards again. Unlike Crytek, who see only the need to license their Engine to console devs to make maximum profit.

I mean you won't even be able to play BF3 without windows 7 64bit and DX11, and they are keeping SLI and Crossfire users in their plans as well by building the engine to scale as well as it can with Multi-GPU's.
