Hello all. First time here and I don't even have Crysis 2 yet. But the reason I am holding off on it is that I have a few questions. First, can it be modded? I have in mind an rpg type mod where players can learn abilities, level up, etc.

Yea you can. The modding is so possible that it harms the MP part. People mod weapon files for maximum damage and other suit stuff. I hope they fix that part.

Other than that yea it works. Im using a desert camo skin found for my Scar. Works online too obviously.

I dont know about that, since i didnt bought the game from EA Website. Anyway alongside this desert camo, there is also a digitized urban camo skin.

It doesnt really matter since the normal skin we all have on Scar (or any other weapon) can be edited, since they use a .dds texture. Im working on my flaming Feline now

The Crysis 2 SDK doesn't exist (yet?). What you found was either the Crysis 1 or Wars SDK.

The Cryengine 3 SDK does exist I have it, but you will have to either BUY a key to use it or...................
