LAN-Mode for Multiplayer / Playing Crysis 2 on LAN Parties

Hi there Crysis 2 Folks,

as much of a disappointment the glitches in the multiplayer are, it basically has a LOT of potential to be super awesome.

the real problem i have with the multiplayer is, that playing with my friends is almost impossible. when joining a random server there is no way to be sure that we will be put in the same team, play the map/game mode we want to and be sure that we are not nuked away by some rocket-launchering highlevels or cheaters.

also, its a complete new level of boldness, to make people pay 50 bucks for a new game they highly anticipated and then to show them that they actually gotta pay additional MONTHLY pays just to be able to play in their own multiplayer room with password protection. and that at prices like 8 rooms 20 euros PER MONTH?? are you serious?

honestly, PLEASE add a lan mode to this game. if i wanna play with 3-4 friends and maybe play a 2v2 i dont wanna join a random empty server and then get quickly joined by some highlevels that just pwn us away and take out the entire fun of the game. also, its ridicolous, that you released an actual version that shows more glitches and bugs then even the multiplayer demo, which was pretty awesome.

My conclusion: Fix the glitches and Bugs ASAP, find an effective Cheater-protection, ADD SOME KIND OF VOTEKICK FUNCTION AT THE VERY LEAST and if possible PLEASE enable a local lan modus or just a "training" mode where you can just walk around empty maps. i recommended the game to a friend and after one afternoon of multiplayer he ragequitted the game and now wants to sell it again cause we were owned again and again by cheaters, high levelers and the hidden structures in the maps that make learning a strategy on a map way more difficult then in other shooters (especially if you get killed every 20-30 seconds into the game and dont even get to realize how the parts of a map are conneted).

long talk, short sense: there need to be made some significant changes to this multiplayer mod. OR, if you plan to give up the computer as a game platform, GIVE IT UP and tell us to buy a console. but dont make us buy something for a full game price without telling us we gotta pay extra for multiplayer. cause i dont recommend seeing that anywhere on the packaging.

Bye Folks,
Jukantos
