Well Crysis 2 is FIN

Because I am not the person to look at so called "professional" scores such as ign and gamespot, i look at the user score. I care about what the user thinks before i buy a game WAY more than what ign has to say about it because frankly i think they get payed off sometimes for the good score. And i am sure i am not the only one who thinks that.

Look at the Metacritic user score for this game. Its a 6.6 out of 10 and still dropping. Now if i was a consumer and i saw that and i have not already purchased the game, i would no longer want to purchase it.

You took way to long Crytek and the consumer has spoken and because Metacritic is a HUGE review site you game is now gone. Even IF you patch all the problems with the game, the over all consumer score for crysis 2 is still to low to persuade people to buy your game.

1 week has passed and so far nothing. I am eagerly awaiting for the bugs to be fixed and some nice visual updates, as well as MP fixes. Sense i can not sell the game i might as well find a way to enjoy it.

I know i am going to get a bunch of fanboyish responses for this post, but it is completely true people. Its okay to support Crytek and still support Crysis 2. BUT because Crysis 1 raised the bar so dam high your consumer was expecting SO much more out of crysis 2 and never got it. You have been digging this hole sense 2007.

you really **** this one up crytek. even if you say you are sorry it is WAY to late.

I don't think metacritic scores will have as big an impact on sales as you think to be honest, though I do agree with you about Crytek taking far too long to respond/update.

I doubt their next game will sell half as well on PC as this one did. Of course this won't matter because console players will lap-up whatever big-name developers vomit into their laps.

I really hope it does well overall. Although I have biched about the game, after forcing myself to look past the console nature of the game and play well into the single player adventure, it really grew on me and is a masterpiece of an adventure for what it is.

They should not have named it Crysis 2 though. They should have called it something like "Crysis Full Throttle", or "Crysis Urgency" or something since it was going to consoles, and a lot of the console people didn't see what happened in Crysis 1 as far as the story. It honestly feels like an "Arcade Version" of a Crysis game when compared to the originals.

That way they could have still went ahead to make an actual sequel of the game that focussed on what the hell happened in the past 3 years of the story, and kept with the same sandbox game design to be consistent.

i hope it does well over all too. but it seems as though it is to late for crytek. the mulriplayer is going to be empty not only from people leaving the game but users not buying because of the low score.
