Any particular reason for the six month wait for Platinum? Not a trophy-whorre but come on!

Desperation.. Nobody wants empty servers 6 months down the line.

I don't think it was a great idea, but it's not like some of the retardedly difficult MP trophies I've seen before.

Yeah, I don't like this as well. But it's not like I need that trophy NOW!!! I really think I can get platinum this time, no really difficult (and annoying) trophies, I think. I love this game so much, I will put the time in to get that platinum trophy.

Do you play and ditch games after a single month? Why can't you just play it for as long as 6 months, seems quite a reasonable achievement to me.

I know that you can change the date and time on some games to get trophies.

But it′s probably not a good idea because you could maybe get banned or really mess things up.

So don′t try unless your willing to risk it.

It's not that, I for one will almost certainly still be playing this 6 months down the line, just as I probably will be with Black Ops. However, all it serves to do is effectively piss people off who want to get platinum before 6 months has passed.
