I was recording the play of multiplayer ... and suddenly record a cheater killing me .. at the very end of the video.

And now? How do I proceed?

The cheater said he does not care ... he said that nothing will happen to him ... offended many players on the server ... he is playing with a pirated version of the game and obviously with a cd-key pirate.

theres nothing you can do unfortunately, crytek seems to be ignoring the fact that their game is completely overrun with hackers. Maybe the next patch will fix some of the problems...

lol, did he just "walk through the wall"? Wow.. game has barely been out and already major hacks.. nice. Reminds me of Medal of Honor 2010, I bought that game and loved it, until like the 3 day, friggin hacks everywhere.

It's obvious some of these games need "better cheat/hack detection" methods.. I know it can be done, it's just will they do it. There will always been "some cheaters", but they could do a better job @ catching them. As for "what should you do" .. well, I'm not sure. Only time I played Crysis 2 multi-player was on the demo, I just finished the single player campaign and was going to start playing mutliplayer.

What cheat detection method does "Crysis 2" use, PunkBuster? If I was you.. just email the videolink to Crytek and whoever maintains the cheat detection engine for Crysis 2 and hope for the best.. maybe something will get done, maybe not.

I seriously don't understand why people cheat? To me it takes the "enjoyment" out of the game and that feeling of competition, I guess they do it for other reasons? My guess is, the svck so badly they just can't stand it and rather than "practice" and get better, they cheat?

I downloaded a trainer once for "FarCry 2" in SINGLE PLAYER, I downloaded it so my "weapons would not degrade" so quickly cause the game was unrealistic at the speed in which they degraded. Out of curiousity I tried some of the other cheats it offered and it was just stupid silly, it turned off everything but the weapon degrading cause it took all the fun from the game. I play for fun and to be competitive and could careless of what my score looks like. Yeah, you will get people that call you a noob and say your score svcks, but who cares? I'm sure they get owned too.

That... Sadly is an understatement... If this is their version of "We do take cheating very seriously here at Crytek" which is essentially an unplayable situation; what happens when they go on vacation, or start focusing on their next game? I suppose servers so over-run with exploits that even cheaters are bored is one strategy to beat cheating and taking it 'very seriously'... Or perhaps they mean, "Yup there's serious cheating going, and we know it!"

Fingers crossed the next patch attempt isn't as abject as the what we're dealing with now... This would be horrible in a 'Value Priced B Title' -- it's just ridiculous in an 'AAA' title that's approching a three digit price point... Buy it and Cry...

I see a cheater, I point him out to everyone on the server and say lets all leave for another server and maybe he'll "get it" and I disconnect and find another server. Sometimes I'm running Fraps and I'll let him know I have him on video. Sometimes it helps, sometimes is doesn't. Crytek doesn't take videos from users. If they are like many companies, the Devs themselves play and that's when a specific problem is brought to everyone's attention (the cheat exploit itself, not the player, because the exploit is the root of the issue). But don't expect emailing them is going to get anyone banned. It's just not possible for them review everyone's complaints.

Yesterday I was playing crysis 2 multiplayer there was a hacker in the server.he hacked the my game.I killed nothing until he left the server.

drop an F-BOMB? but seriously, these **** are hacking in order to make it look like they are better at the game than us "lesser" beings... but the guy who comes last in the match with a 1:15 K:D has more skill than that hacking poes :/
