It's alot more fun on supersoldier :D.. I usually just jump right in on Normal mode (because most FPS have absolutely horrible campaigns), but the game was pretty epic.

Now I'm playing through on Supersoldier you have a real reason to cloak, and a real reason to play tactically. If you de-cloak at the wrong time or run out of energy you're pretty much dead.

Yeah, it is pretty hard (for me anyway) to play through again when I already know what happened.

At the moment I pretty much just take advantage of Stealth enhance and nano recharge which I unlocked in previous playthroughs and just run through as much as I can; only fighting when there's no other option.

Most of the fighting can even be avoided if you pick up a DGS-1 at the helicopter battle. From then on just clear areas of enemies before you go down anywhere.

11 hours for me on my first run on Veteran :) Only completed 65%, haha

I'd say my next run on super soldier will likely go for 15+ hours as i will make sure i collect everything in each level :D

Lots of fun!

15 hours on normal... How the hell did you pull off seven? AvP3 and Halo 3: ODST took me 9 hours.

The only thing I didn't do on my first runthrough was collect the collectibles. Got every single attachment, mixed playstyle. The game really isn't that long.
Now if only I could figure out what permanently **** my FPS so I could, y'know, keep playing.

5h 41 mins on veteran on first play through. I was surprised i finished it so quickly because it felt longer than that. Unless i was bugged by the game, but i doubt it. Finished it on the same day i got the game.

JP, how in the bloody hell did you miss all the "Nathan lied, the game is only 8 hours long" threads that appeared 2 days after the game came out?

Because I have a job? It was my day off? The first thing I did in the morning was go down to Gamestop and get both my copies? I spent my days off playing Crysis 2 8 hours the first part then the next day it took 7 to complete.

I played the game just like I played Crysis and Warhead, I beat Warhead in 9 hours as I've said in my recommendation for the game on steam "They pressure you to do the objective" at least that's what it felt like when I played Warhead,

The game pushed you to do the job showing you what Psycho does not Nomad. I beat Crysis in 2 days on and off game time at the time but nonetheless. I played the game just like Crysis except for the parts when you had pressure pushed on you. (Granted on the second play-through I took my merry time. Except the Times Square level. The Third time I will probably do the exact same thing.

Of course I'm aiming to enjoy the game as opposed to just doing the objectives, shooting things and moving forward Like my friend for example He loves CoD he loves mindless games where you just kill things and please yourself. You know, the instant gratification crap people buy into now and days DasBoSchitt .

Btw an after thought, now for example in Predator: Concrete Jungle we used to see who could complete a level the fastest with the most kills. So hey guess what competition is what you make it. :P

Because it is a 6-9 hour game for most normal fps players? It is actually quite long compared to the average fps games nowdays, which are 4-6 hours long.
