all my local servers shows in the lobby a ping of about 95 to 110 but when i join my ping is only 17- 30 with my good South African 512k ADSL (jis i love being in a under develop, corrupt, post apartheid - BEE (reversed racism, yes you get that one to ) why is this is there a fix workaround?

same here - in the lobby the servers in my country (Romania) shows 100 ping and in game i hafe ping 2 - 10.

dont we all know that.... but this is another one - the best one is the games framerate is higher with a GTX 260 than with my 5970 (something to do with that Green logo in the intro with the whispering lady?)

well, we posted this issue to inform crytek that this is not fixed. dooh... and about your framerate - probably bad drivers/windows or something. the game works fine on 5970

it runs fine on my 5970 just with a lower frame rate that an GTX260 - between 120 fps and 40, its allot more stable on the GTX 260. Drivers up to date windows everythings fine. (i think its the ATi profile thing thats the issue, to remove the flickering)
