Hey guys,
I have a very big problem with my Crysis 2.
I tried to patch my Crysis 2 to patch 1.2 a few minutes ago but I have a problem with it.
When it starts to install the patch after downloading it there appears the error:
"couldn't delete C://[...]/crysis2.exe"
Then I can only click "OK" and the EADM removes the patch and I have version 1.1 again.

I hope someone can help me soon because I can't play Crysis 2 anymore.

Just bought this game yesterday and I am REALLY wishing I would have saved my $59.00!!!
Really, this is the WORST released game I have ever seen. Wish I would have read the forums BEFORE I purchaesed it.

i also have the same problem,ea downloader starts updating to version 1.2
finishes the down load then i run the patch and i get the following error message

cannot delete target file
c:\program files (86)\electronic arts/crytek/crysis 2\\bin 32\crysis 2 exe

is it a problem with ea downloader ????

or crysis 2 running or this folder dont have permissions to do that.

I had the same problem and the fix I used was to create a copy of Crysis2.exe and just renamed the old one and it worked for me.

Edit: I noticed that I also had multiple Crysis2*32 processes running that prevented me from deleting the old, renamed executable. Manually close the process(es) and you should be able to delete the old executable if you have that propblem as well.
